Just when you thought full tomtom style sat nav couldnt get any cheaper, along comes Skobbler.The maps are provided by OpenStreetMap (OSM) which is a free online, user-generated service described as "the Wikipedia of maps".
There are 250,000 members who update the worldwide maps whenever there are changes using online map editing tools. These updates are then free to all Skobbler and OSM users.
Skobbler has many of the features seen with traditional satnavs including turn-by-turn GPS navigation and a 'take me home' function.
